LRM is delighted to announce that it is a media partner of the Motoring Literary & Art Festival.

Visitors can expect two jam-packed days devoted to motoring books, magazines, art and automobilia. The event is built around – in grand literary festival tradition – a programme of interesting and entertaining panel discussions and talks. A stellar line-up of speakers includes industry leaders and experts, writers and designers from across the wide world of motoring and motorsport, hosting talks and discussions on subjects ranging from running a major car brand and designing an automotive icon to crossing continents in Land Rovers.

It will also feature prominent automotive artists, an array of specialist exhibitors, a selection of cars that have starred on road, on track and in ink, book signing sessions with authors and motoring personalities, and the first-ever Motor Sport Awards, the recipients of which will be honoured at a special dinner on the Saturday.

Lord Alexander Hesketh is the guest speaker for an evening that celebrates the year’s standout publications and people and incorporates an auction that’s supporting Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia.

Set to take place inside The Wing at Silverstone on the opening weekend of December, it’s shaping up to be a season highlight, not to mention a great chance to rub shoulders with Camel Trophy winners Bob and Joe Ives, celebrated vehicle restorer Julian Shoolheifer, and award-winning motoring writers and authors (and LRM contributors) Martin Port and Nick Dimbleby.
