Ex-electricity board, hence the utility build including roller shutters, winch and racking. It has the original serial plates under the bonnet showing the chassis numbers and modification details.
Owned one other gentleman since then who looked after it very well. He used it lightly for his electric fencing business. I bought it less than a year ago and have been using it as a daily vehicle. I am devastated to have to sell it- my wife has insisted I get a vehicle with more seats for the kids so I have bought another Defender!
Both myself and the former owner have had it maintained at Gratech 4x4, Land Rover specialists.
Recent work includes:
Four new tyres in April 24.
Replacement main and auxilliary belts in 2024.
Full service Nov 2023.
Passed MOT with flying colours in late 2023. MOT valid until Nov 2024.
Known issues:
Very minimal. MOT identified minor play in anti-roll bar joint to be monitored at future MOTs.
Minor oil leak on rocker cover. I have the seal I will give you I just haven't had chance to install.
Radio currently not working. I believe this is simply because it needs a second auxilliary battery as there is a battery balancing system under passenger seat. Just not had time to do it.
Provided free with the vehicle:
Rocker Cover Gasket
Front new door seals (both)
Front new door hinges (both)
New barrel and lock set and keys.
Matching LR white spray paint.
