Rivolve Motorworks Limited - a division of Nene Overland - has just launched a new website highlighting its breadth of services
As well as a section dedicated to the sales of pre-owned Rivolve edition Defenders, you can also see how the team can enhance your own pride and joy. Based at its Peterborough workshop, which incorporates facilities for tuning, engineering, fabrication, interior and exterior enhancements, the company specialises in 90 and 110 soft top builds but has the expertise to work on any Defender model.
If you don’t want to go down the bespoke route there are four ‘off-the-shelf’ Rivolve editions: Falcon Soft Back, Sport Wagon, Retro Classic and Overland X. Over the past few years Rivolve has also been developing a range of GM-powered petrol V8 conversions mated to either an eight-speed auto or – unique to Rivolve – a six-speed manual. Said to be far more refined, quicker and economical than its outgoing LS3 Corvette motor installations, most popular is the L83 355bhp 5.3-litre V8 swap.
For those wanting more power, the range tops out with a pair of 6.2-litre V8s: a naturally aspirated L86 making 420bhp and a supercharged LT4 producing a whopping 650bhp.
