As part of our 75 Years of Land Rover celebrations at LRM Live in May, we have secured some absolutely incredible historic vehicles to star in our Hall of Fame.
First up is the Land Rover that started it all – a replica of the 1947 Centre Steer prototype that was designed to cater for both left- and right-hand drive markets, and represents where the company began. A tribute to the Holy Grail vehicle that’s never been officially found, this is a rare opportunity and one not to be missed.
Following the theme of firsts, we have also secured the 1969 Velar Engineering Prototype Range Rover – the oldest surviving Range Rover in the world. This pre-production special went on to become the vehicular benchmark against which all luxury off-roaders have since been measured, and to see it in the metal will be a real treat.
We’ll be releasing further additions to the Hall of Fame line-up as they are confirmed. Land Rover Monthly is now a Gold Supporter of the Dunsfold collection, and we look forward to sharing some of its fantastic Land Rovers with our readers and followers.
