Fancy driving a range of rare cars hand-selected from the private Land Rover Classic Collection including a Series II, formerly owned by Spencer Wilks and a Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy Edition?

Well, you might want to act quick as Land Rover Classic is only dedicating one day – 9 November –  to this unique off-road drive experience and it’s exclusively limited to just nine driving spaces. It will be held in the grounds of Eastnor Estate and its 60 miles of carefully managed off-road trails, where participants will navigate the original route from the 1970 Range Rover press launch and drive alongside the famous inaugural Gearbox hill – one of the largest test hills on the site used by Land Rover since 1960. There’s even an opportunity to re-enact a challenge from the Camel Trophy and G4 competitions.

Specially trained instructors will provide one-to-one instruction and guests will be lavished with lunch, gifts and photographic memories of the day with the one and only Nick Dimbleby capturing the entire event. At a later date, guests will be able to take part in a behind the scenes tour of Classic Works and private collection. Spaces can be secured online at parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/land-rover-driving-experience.html, and you’ll need almost £2k for the privilege!
