Northampton's Billing Off Road Show postponed due to COVID-19

Sadly, due to COVID-19, the Billing Off Road Show 2020 will not be going ahead this year. With the safety of visitors paramount to the organisers it would be irresponsible to hold the show this summer and therefore the new dates to put in your diary are now June 26-27, 2021.

All online bookings will be automatically transferred to 2021. However, if you would prefer to be refunded, email [email protected] with your order number, name and address and you will be refunded, minus the nominal transaction fee. Please be patient as refunds may take a couple of weeks. Traders and clubs will be contacted individually.

There is some good news – you may not have to wait a year for your fix – with the Billing Off Road Show team hosting two off-road days on the weekend of September 26-27. Please keep an eye on their website for further information and tickets, and bear in mind it will be subject to conditions post-lockdown. What are you waiting for? Email [email protected] or call 01604 890271.

So, what can we expect from the 2021 show? Well, having run the two off-road courses and camping for the last 28 years on their farm, organisers Richard and Sarah Arrowsmith (and their children), can ensure a family-friendly event, with off-road enthusiasts at the heart.

To that end, there will be entertainment for the kiddies (including face painting, bouncy castles, go-karts and more), in addition, to live music and the usual charity auction on Saturday night in the beer tent, where all items are very generously donated by the traders.

There will also be a Club area, in addition to Show and Tell, where Land Rover Monthly is giving owners of special vehicles the opportunity to talk about their vehicles in a 90-minute slot each day of the show in the Demonstration Arena. If you would like your Land Rover to feature, email [email protected].

The off-road courses are strictly open to wristband wearers only and it is slightly cheaper to book online. The 1.5 mile Riverside course winds steeply up and down the banks of the river, among the trees, giving you a greenlane feeling, while the Lakeside course offers a mix of mud, water and steep terrains across 100 acres of beautiful countryside, including scenic lakes.

In the Food Village, there is a wide selection of grub and drinks, including a general store for campers. Look out for Land Rover-converted coffee and beer bars.

Challenge South West will be demonstrating their winch challenge vehicles and offering passenger rides to all those who are brave enough, and with Britain’s leading off-road specialists (including engine tuning, suspension, expedition kit, styling and adventure tours) displaying their wares, as well as a huge auto jumble area, your Land Rover should feel excited, too.

Buy your tickets at thebillingoffroadexperience.co.uk/book-now, and we’ll see you there!
