Reserve a space in your diary for May 23 and visit Malvern for the first – and covid compliant – Spares Day of the season
Taking place on Sunday May 23, the Malvern 4x4, Land Rover & Vintage Spares Day plus Drive In Day is the first show of the season and the first outdoor event of its type to run since the easing of Covid restrictions. It always a popular event, and this years’ shindig will no doubt be eagerly anticipated by those who want to reconnect with family and friends, as well as talk to like-minded enthusiasts, Land Rover aficionados and auto jumble hunters.
Malvern’s Three Counties showground in Worcestershire is the host, and the event is all outdoors with wider walkways than ever before and ample space for social distancing requirements. For visitors arriving in a green oval badged vehicle from 1948 to 2021, you can use their VIP parking and join an informal display on the day. This only applies to those who have pre-booked online.
There’ll be lots of stalls selling Land Rover and 4x4 spares, tools, accessories, camping equipment, work wear and clothing, as well as motoring consumables and auto jumble parts from all eras. It’s the perfect place to pick up a bargain or that longed for missing or obsolete spare – so make sure you take your wallet.
It’s easy to take part, whether you are trade or not. Simply pre-book a visitor ticket, online plot or trade stand at 4x4sparesday.co.uk, print the ticket off and bring it with you. Online tickets can be pre-booked up to 24 hours before the event and cost £6. Under 15s go free of charge. Parking is free, there is no camping and dogs on leads welcome.
Outdoor plots are £30 when pre-booked or £35 on the day, admits one vehicle with/without a trailer plus two adults, and you can use as much space as you sensibly require.
In the unfortunate circumstance that this event cannot run due to any last minute to changes in government restriction, your ticket will be valid at any of its future 4x4 spares day events or they will refund on request.

Now that restrictions have listed, if you’re itching to get out in your Land Rover, Mark Woodward Classic Events (the team behind the Malvern 4x4, Land Rover & Vintage Spares Day) are also holding two classic car shows this May Bank Holiday weekend.
Hutton-In-The-Forest near Penrith will be holding their 18th Classic Cars in the Park on Sunday May, 24, then the following day Harrogate’s Ripley Castle will be home to the 35th Yorkshire Classic Vehicle Show and Classic Land Rover Display.
Each event boasts plentiful rows of trade stands and bargain hunters will find one-off treasures at the ever-popular auto jumble. Show entry at both Hutton and Ripley includes free parking and admission to grounds, gardens, parkland and tearooms.
