Host announced for LRM Live 2024

With a background in radio, and numerous podcasts for brands such as Top Gear, Wayne is renowned for his unique commentary, encyclopaedic knowledge of motoring history and infectious passion for motoring, and we are pleased that he’s adding LRM Live to his list of motoring events this year.

Wayne’s first encounter with Land Rovers was when his father purchased a Discovery 1 in 1989. From that moment on, the brand was pivotal to family life and Wayne openly admits to still owning a Pete Wilford colouring book. A 1980s classic Range Rover V8 followed until a vehicle arrived that would change family holidays forever – a Defender 110 County. Holidays as a youngster were spent exploring the Scottish Islands, using the Land Rover to sleep in whilst the tent languished outside storing all the kit. As soon as he was able, Wayne’s daily transport had to be a Land Rover and he has owned two Discovery 3s.

Following a triumphant debut in 2023, the second two-day Land Rover event is on 18-19 May at the Three Counties Showground. As well as the live events arena, you can expect trade stands, club displays, autojumble stands, beer tent and entertainment for the whole family.
