In association with LRM, Britain’s best the Billing Off Road show is set to return for 2021…

In terms of the show circuit 2020 was a disaster for the car scene and a let-down for enthusiasts. If you wanted your Land Rover fix you had two options: Indulge yourself in a book dedicated to the marque (or your favourite magazine, of course) or through your vehicle itself – whether that was working on it or getting behind the wheel as and when regulations allowed.

While 2021 hasn’t exactly got off to a great start with all four UK nations under lockdown, a new variant spreading more rapidly than the original version and hospitals under increasing pressure, there is hope for the near future in the form of a vaccine (or three!), and so it is with certain confidence that event organisers are now beginning to get excited about getting back to some sort of normality this summer.

And once again, we’re very proud to be supporting the Billing Off Road Show 2021. In fact, we’re so chuffed we’ve got an exciting offer for you to celebrate our continued partnership. Anyone that pre-books their LRM subscription ahead of the show will get a free day visitor ticket, which will be emailed to them before the show, plus they will get the first five issues of LRM all for just £15. Click here to subscribe and get your free ticket.

If you’re already a subscriber, fear not, day entry tickets (Saturday or Sunday) will cost you £10.50 while weekend day entry tickets (Saturday and Sunday) will set you back £18, and you get a hell of lot for your money including entertainment for the whole family to enjoy (did we mention under 16s go free?).

From 9.00 am to 5.00 pm you can take advantage of the new food village (including a general store for campers), beer tent, variety of stalls and shops, live music and charity auction, with the chance to bid on some amazing items generously donated by the traders, while children have the pick of several fun-filled activities (including go-carting, a climbing wall, bouncy castles and inflatables, and face painting).

Let’s get down to what you’re really interested though – all things green oval… First off, Land Rover Monthly are hosting a 90 minute Show and Tell event each day, whereby the owners of special Land Rovers will drive their vehicles on to a stage and talk about them with the LRM team. If you would like your vehicle to be selected for this prestigious event, please email [email protected] for more details.

As always the two infamous onsite off-road courses will be at your disposal – the Riverside Course is open on Friday while the Lakeside Course is open on Saturday and Sunday. There is more information regarding these courses at thebillingoff
roadexperience.co.uk/the-riverside-course, and it is slightly cheaper to book online, so take full advantage!

The club area is almost full, with the majority of the clubs that booked for 2020 having transferred to this year, the same with the 100 plus trade and auto jumble stands that will be in attendance, and, as always, Challenge South West will be demonstrating their winch challenge vehicles and offering passenger rides to all those that are brave enough!

With camping available from Monday June 21 to 28 and full toilet and shower facilities why not make a holiday out of it… God knows we all need one!
